On July 12, 14, 18 and 21, 2019, the VIII St. Petersburg International Festival Opera-All will take place.
Every year the festival presents to the public the masterpieces of opera classics under the open sky in the most beautiful architectural ensembles of St. Petersburg. In 2019, the festival traditionally opens on July 12 at 19.00 on the Day of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul on the Cathedral Square of the Peter and Paul Fortress. On this day, the masterpiece of Tchaikovsky’s opera “Orleansky Maiden” will be performed. Also in the festival program will feature famous works of domestic and foreign composers. The performances will be held in the Alexander Garden in front of the Theater Music Hall, on the Elagin Island in front of the Elaginoostrovsky Palace and in the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Building Museum.
